Flexible Manhole Connectors

Maxful Engineering Ltd. constructed this 5m deep gravity sewer in Sha Tin. 70 meters of DN300 (355mm OD), M90SE PE100 RC pipe and a number of DSD Type A flexible electrofusion manhole connectors in each chamber
The fixed ring part (ASF) of the manhole connector is embedded into the chamber wall reinforcing and encased in Concrete. The electrofusion spigot part (AEM) that fuses to the pipe, contains two rubber ring seals and an expanding hydrophilic seal ring to ensure a leak tight seal between the ASF & AEM, even with 5m of head over the life of the joint.
