The Vanuatu Tourism Infrastructure Project (VTIP) is funded by the New Zealand Government and the Vanuatu Government. The goal of the project is to contribute to a buoyant, resilient tourism sector that provides greater economic returns from the tourism sector for Vanuatu.
Mill-Pro worked closely with BECA and Hawkins Infrastructure to fabricate architectural balustrade in China to be fitted to a new seawall, BECA and Hawkins both visited the fabrication facility to audit Mill-Pro’s QA processes.
Mill-Pro scope included producing shop drawings, fabrication, polishing & electro polishing, trial assembly, fasteners, packing and shipment, delivery was extremely tight with 5 shipments being delivered on weekly shipments.
Mill-Pro’s inspector was present throughout fabrication to ensure that only 316 stainless steel was used and no lesser grades of stainless steel materials were mixed in the fabrication process. Mill-Pro has portable spectrographic equipment that allows us to test every component including fasteners for material compliance.
